When Amanda and I first discussed the Impact Marana program, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I could tell how excited Amanda was about this program and I know that she knows her stuff. I couldn’t have possibly known exactly what I was going to experience. The Impact Marana program is perhaps the single most rewarding program I have participated in in my career. I have been a part of some special companies and created some amazing things, but the experiences in this program are honestly hard to describe, although I did my best when I posted on LinkedIn throughout the 7 months of “adult field trips”.

The Impact Marana program is an immersive look into the entire backbone of both public and private industry for both the town of Marana and the Southern Arizona region. Through 7 individual program days, we were exposed to experiences that not just anyone can be a part of. From public service featuring a live active shooter drill performed by multiple agencies to healthcare and education and even the history of our area and the development of the town to bring it where it is today, I learned so many amazing things that I would’ve never learned had I not participated in this program.

One of the most special parts of this program, that I had no idea was going to happen, were the bonds and friendships between the class members that were cultivated as a result of experiencing something so special all together. We spent a good amount of time together touring amazing facilities, reading to children, flying Blackhawk simulators and a plethora of other unbelievable experiences.

I would highly recommend you apply for this program. I did this based on trust in something I hadn’t seen. I can tell you firsthand that, had I known how this would impact both my business and my life, I would’ve signed up even quicker. Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this program.
