I am excited to provide information to you about the Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation. The inspiration behind the name “2340 Foundation” came from the number of days it takes a student to complete their education from Kindergarten through 12th grade, which is 2340 days.

The Marana Schools’ 2340 Foundation was established to support the outstanding work being done in the Marana Unified School District. The 2340 Foundation is committed to providing the necessary resources to ensure equity and excellence is always supported within the Marana Unified School District. We desire to help MUSD enrich its focus on teaching and learning for students’ entire education.

Since 2014 the foundation has provided 115 scholarships totaling over $280,000 to students who attended Marana Unified School District from kindergarten through 12th grade. We have also had the privilege of providing 33 employees a monetary well-deserved recognition of their commitment to the Marana Unified School District’s students and families.

The 2340 Foundation has also been able to support MUSD by providing resources to the classroom through student attendance incentives, student exam incentives, and summer transition camps. We also have been able to provide scholarships to educators for dual enrollment courses, support new teacher orientation, and Professional Development Day.

The key to a vibrant community is an excellent educational experience for all students. We hope that every student can accomplish beyond what they think they are capable of. Help us fulfill that dream.
